Welcome to Greyton Primary
Greyton Primary School is opening new doors for learners by embracing a vision of education where every child is given the opportunity to learn, grow and belong.
We are a village school at heart — small enough to know every learner by name, and ambitious enough to keep widening what a primary school education can offer. From Grade R through Grade 7, our classrooms, sports fields and stages are places where children are encouraged to take part, to try, and to find what they are good at.

Greyton Primary School provides learning opportunities from Grade R through Grade 7, supporting learners as they progress through the different stages of primary education.
The curriculum is designed to develop learners academically, socially, creatively and practically, while preparing them with the knowledge, skills and confidence they need for the next stage of their education.
Greyton Primary follows the South African national curriculum framework for primary education.

Greyton Primary's approach to learner support forms part of its broader commitment to inclusive education. Through mainstream learning, learner support, LSPID, DCAPS and the school's Full-Service School commitment, Greyton Primary continues to work towards an environment where learners with different educational needs can participate meaningfully in school and society.
In 2025, Greyton Primary School introduced its LSPID programme as part of the school's growing commitment to inclusive education.
The programme provides specialised educational support for learners with severe to profound intellectual disabilities, while creating opportunities for each learner to develop according to their individual abilities, needs and potential.
At Greyton Primary, inclusion means more than providing specialised support. It means creating a school environment where every learner is recognised as a valued member of the school community.
A Place to Learn, Grow and Belong
Every learner has unique abilities, strengths and ways of communicating and learning. Learning is approached according to the needs and abilities of each learner, with emphasis on building confidence, communication, social interaction, practical skills and greater independence in everyday life.

In 2026, Greyton Primary School further expanded its inclusive education offering with the introduction of the DCAPS programme.
DCAPS provides learners who require an alternative and differentiated curriculum with an opportunity to access education in a way that is appropriate to their individual abilities, developmental needs and learning pace.
At Greyton Primary, the programme focuses on meaningful learning, practical skills, individual development and creating opportunities for every learner to participate and progress.
